Rosemary Rollason

Rosemary qualified as a solicitor in 1988 and joined FFW as a partner in 1999. 

She specialises in professional regulation and has extensive experience in advising regulators on all aspects of their work. 

Rosemary sits as a Legal Adviser for the General Teaching Council and is appointed as a Legal Assessor to the General Chiropractic Council.  She also acts for the Nursing & Midwifery Council, the General Osteopathic Council and the General Medical Council.  Rosemary regularly appears as an advocate at public and private disciplinary hearings.  She is appointed to the panel of solicitors who present disciplinary cases on behalf of the Law Society and has been appointed The Lay Observer for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Rosemary was one of the founder members of the Steering Committee for the new association of lawyers working in regulation - the Association for Regulatory and Disciplinary Lawyers (ARDL), which was established in Spring 2002. The Association now has over 350 solicitor and barrister members.
