Cheryl Chan

Cheryl is a solicitor in our Employment Group.  Cheryl qualified at a law firm in Melbourne, Australia, in 2002 and gained two years experience specialising in both contentious and non-contentious employment law, working for clients in the public and private sector, from not-for-profit organisations through to listed companies.

In England, Cheryl has worked in the Treasury Solicitor's Department in the employment team, undertaking work for various government departments including the HM Prison Service, Home Office, Department for Constitutional Affairs and the Charity Commission for England and Wales.  Prior to joining Field Fisher Waterhouse, Cheryl worked as an in-house legal advisor at the Audit Commission, a body that audits local government and  NHS bodies, dealing with a range of employment advice and litigation work, including advising on a major redundancy exercise.
