Tom Rider

Tom Rider qualified as a solicitor in 1982 and became a partner of the firm in 1987. 

Tom has extensive experience of acting for public bodies and advises both new and established regulators on the interpretation and application of legislation in relation to the broad spectrum of their statutory functions, as well as the development of policy and the drafting of new primary and secondary legislation.  He appears before committees on conduct, health, performance and registration cases and acts on appeals and judicial reviews, including large and high-profile cases.  He is appointed by the General Chiropractic Council as a Legal Assessor and by the General Teaching Council as a Legal Adviser.
