Richard Kenyon


Richard is Deputy Head of FFW’s Employment Group. He qualified as a solicitor with the firm in 1992 and became a partner in 2001.

Richard was a founding member of the editorial board of the Public Sector Employment Law Journal, is a member of the editorial board of the Employment Law. He has also contributed precedents on policies to Butterworths Encyclopaedia of Forms and Precedents.  He is currently in discussions to co-write a “Practical Approach To Promoting Equality And Diversity” with Henrietta Hill from Doughty Street Chambers.  He is listed in the employment law section of Legal Experts 2006.

Richard’s practice spans the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment and equality issues from Employment Tribunal claims and appeals, disciplinary proceedings and health and safety issues to large-scale outsourcing projects, and collective redundancies including advice on information and consultation with trade unions and employee representatives.  He has a particular interest in developing good practice and policy. He conducted the first ever survey of public sector compliance with obligations in relation to race equality.
