Nigel Wildish

Nigel is a partner in the Technology Law Group.  He heads up the firm's Privacy and Information Law group and chairs a European association of IT and E-commerce law firms, Ecomlex. 

He is recognised as a leading IT and E-commerce lawyer by Legal 500, Legal Business's Legal Experts, Chambers Directory, Chambers Global Directory of World Leading Lawyers and PLC Which Lawyer? Yearbook. He speaks regularly at conferences on a range of IT, Outsourcing, Data Protection and FOI topics.

His professional memberships include the International Bar Association, Computer Law Association and American Bar Association.

Nigel’s practice encompasses procurements and outsourcings; licensing and partner/channel relationships of all kinds; intellectual property strategies; e-commerce start-ups, financings, reviews and major contracts; data protection issues for the public sector;  freedom of information rules for the public and private sector;  and dispute avoidance and expert witness testimony.

He has advised major technology users, such as HM Treasury, the Cabinet Office, the Home Office, ODPM and the BBC on the recent BBC Technology outsourcing. Nigel has been cleared for security purposes in respect of government work.
