Nigel Taylor

Nigel qualified as a solicitor at the firm in 1993 and became a partner in April 2001.

Nigel advises on a wide range of corporate/commercial transactions and has particular expertise in advising central Government non-departmental public bodies local authorities and other public sector bodies on PFI/PPP projects commercialisation arrangements outsourcings and other commercial arrangements.

Nigel has advised Transport for London on a variety of corporate/commercial matters and has advised on projects for British Rail, South West Trains, London Underground, HM Treasury and the Cabinet Office. Nigel led the FFW team which advised on the Public Carriage Office’s outsourcing of its vehicle inspection and licensing activities and recently advised the UK Passport Office on the proposed modification of its two PFI contracts for the printing and issuance of passports and the collection of data to allow for the inclusion of biometric information encoded on chips.

Nigel also advises on all aspects of private sector corporate transactions including acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, financing and reorganisations.
