Margaret Davis

Margaret is the Head of the Employment Group and has specialised in employment law since qualifying as a solicitor in 1983.  She has considerable experience in advising employers on all aspects of employment and discrimination law, and in representing them in tribunal hearings.

She has contributed to books and articles on a wide range of employment law issues including the annual Charity Finance Directors’ Handbook and the maternity section of an on-line employment publication directed to HR Managers. 

Margaret is a non-Executive Director of one of the largest Health Trusts in the country and is Chair of its Human Resource Committee. She is also a member of the NHS Employers Confederation representing Kent & Medway Acute Trusts, a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists Removal and Reinstatement Committee, and a Task Force Member of the National Clinical Assessment Service (NCAS) project on restoring doctors and dentists to safe professional practice.  Margaret also gave a presentation at the NCAS Annual Conference in October 2005 on the legal issues presented to NHS employers by returning professionals.
