James Lewis

James joined FFW in 2002 and is a solicitor in FFW’s Commercial Litigation Department.

He advises public and private sector clients on a wide range of commercial disputes and corporate defence matters.

He is currently part of a firm-wide team advising the Department of Work and Pensions on all litigation issues arising out its 1,100 Jobcentres nationwide.  James manages Jobcentres’ protection of staff from unacceptable customer behaviour, which ranges from running of an e-mail based system for the production of warning and banning letters to obtaining injunctive relief from the courts.

Other public sector clients that James has advised include the Student Loans Company and the Royal College of Physicians.
